Collection: Clément Rhum

The history of Clément Rhum began in 1887, when Homère Clément acquired the Domaine de l'Acajou on Martinique. Homère Clément, a respected doctor and mayor of Le François, used his knowledge and resources to produce high-quality Rhum Agricole. Under his leadership, and later under the management of his son Charles Clément, the Clément brand developed into an icon of rhum agricole and today represents the rich culture and history of Martinique.

Traditional methods and 100% natural ingredients

Clément uses only fresh sugar cane grown on its own plantations. After harvesting, the sugar cane juice is immediately pressed and fermented to preserve the freshness and aromas of the sugar cane. Distillation takes place in traditional copper stills to ensure the quality and flavour of the rum. Maturation takes place in carefully selected oak casks, which give the rum its complex flavours and characteristic colour.

Sustainable production

Sustainability is a central part of Clément’s philosophy. The distillery uses environmentally friendly production methods and operates in an energy-efficient manner. Clément is committed to protecting natural resources and supports the local community through fair working conditions and social projects.

Strict quality controls

Every bottle of Clément rum undergoes strict quality controls to ensure it meets the brand’s high standards. From the cultivation of the sugar cane to the bottling process, every stage of production is carefully monitored to guarantee the consistently high quality of the rum.

Clément is guided by a philosophy of authenticity, quality and sustainability. The brand places great emphasis on using fresh sugarcane grown on its own plantations. Every step in the production process, from harvesting the sugar cane to bottling the rum, is carried out with the utmost care. This ensures control over the entire production chain and the highest quality of the final product. Clément is committed to transparency and sustainable production in order to protect the environment and support the local economy.
