Amrut Distilleries Private Limited is a company belonging to the N.R. Jagdale Group, one of the oldest industrial groups in India, which is also known as the Silicon Valley of India.

The group was founded in 1948 by Mr Radhakrishna Jagdale, initially as a small spirits blending and bottling plant.

Amrut Whisky is proud to be the first single malt whisky from India. Its name translates as ‘nectar of the gods/of life’ and reflects the exceptional quality and enjoyment of this whisky.

Among the diverse range of Amrut Whisky bottlings is the Amrut Kadhambam. The Amrut Kadhambam Single Malt Whisky is matured in three different types of cask: Bangalore Blue brandy casks, rum casks and Oloroso sherry butts.

Each of these casks contributes to the whisky’s complexity and diversity by imparting its own distinctive influences.
