Planteray Rum Barbados XO 20th Anniversary (formerly known under the Plantation Rum label) is an exclusive rum creation that combines the very best of Caribbean rum-making with French barrel ageing. This exceptional Extra Old (XO) bottling was created to mark the brand’s 20th anniversary and is a prime example of the fine art of rum ageing. Presented in this large 1.75-litre bottle, the rum makes a striking impression – ideal for collectors, restaurateurs or large celebrations.

Made from carefully selected Barbados rums, this edition was first matured for several years in a tropical climate in bourbon casks before being further refined in France in small cognac casks made from French oak. This elaborate, two-stage ageing process – also known as ‘double ageing’ – lends the rum depth, structure and an exceptionally complex spectrum of aromas.
